
Ingredients :
- 0.55 lb paneer (cut in samll cubes)
- 21/2 cups basmati rice
- 11/2 tablespoon ghee
- 3 cloves
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 3 bayleaves
- 5-6 cardamon pods
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 11/2 tablespoons cumin seeds
- 2 tablespoons rose water
- 1 pinch saffron
- 21/2 cups water
Method :
- Heat ghee and add cloves,cinnamon, bayleaves and cardamon
- After a minute, stir in rice (risned & drained), water and salt
- Allow to boil ,reduce heat and cover
- Cook on simmer for 15 -20 min until the rice is cooked and tender
- Add the paneer
- Dissolve saffron in rose water
- Drizzle this over the rice and toss to mix evenly
- Serve with curry
