Ingredients :
- Chicken breasts
- Thick cut smoked bacon (at least 2 slices per chicken breast)
- to taste garlic salt
- Asparagus (4-5 per chicken breast)
Method :
- Slice as many chicken breast as you need along the middle to open them open like a butterfly. thus will make your asparagus envelope.
- Stuff chicken breast with the asparagus. depending on size i usually get 4-5.
- Season to your liking at this point. i use garlic salt and a blended "everyday" spice from trader joes.
- Wrap your chicken breast in as much bacon as you like. I"d say at least 2 pieces to secure chicken from opening while cooking.
- Throw them in the smoker. Depending on size, smoke 4-5 hrs at 200-225 degrees.
