Ingredients :
- 1 packages Rice vermicelli
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1 Firm Tofu
- 1 bunch chicken (thinly sliced)
- 1 Egg
- 1 shallot (sliced)
- 1 garlic (minced)
- 2 fish ball / fish cake (sliced)
- 1/4 lime
- 3 3/100 cup water
- 1 lb dried shrimp (minced)
- Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sambal belachan (OR 3-4 dried chilli, 2 shallot,1 clove of garlic, and grind into a paste.)
- 1 chopped red chillies
- 1 tbsp Soy bean paste (optional)
- 2 tbsp soya sauce (to taste)
- 1 tsp sugar
Method :
- Deep fry half of the shallots and anchovies. Set aside when it"s done.
- Heat up the wok again, in with garlic, dried shrimps, the rest of shallot fry until fragrant.
- Add chicken in and continue frying for a couple minutes until chicken is cooked.
- Add tofu in.
- Now add soy paste, sambal belachan, sugar, and give them a good mix and stir fry.
- Push all ingredients aside, and crack in an egg, break the egg into smaller pieces using spatula.
- Add 1/3 cup of water, bring to boil, now add rice vermicelli, and stir well.
- Continue cooking until the vermicelli is almost done, now add bean sprouts or any other green vegetables, cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with some chopped red chilli.
