Ingredients :
- 2 cans canned tomato
- 2 tablespoons tomato puré
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 deciliter milk
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves garlic
Method :
- Chop the onion and the garlic finely.
- Apply the onion to a pot at medium-high heat. After one minute of cooking, add the garlic.
- After 2 minutes of sautéing the onions and garlic, add the puré and turn up to maximum heat.
- After two minutes, add the canned tomato and milk.
- After the sauce starts bubbling, turn the heat down to low and add sugar plus spices.
- Let the sauce reduce for 15 minutes, stir the sauce once in while.
- Adjust the sauce with salt and pepper, and any other spices you feel like putting in, until the sauce tastes right.
- Finally throw the sauce into a blender and blend until the sauce has a smooth texture.
- Eating it, while it"s warm, is highly recommended. Bon Appétit.
