
Ingredients :
- 4 Pork Steaks
- 2 Tbsp Apple Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup chicken stock
- 1/4 Cup White Wine
- 2 Tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce
- 1 tsp Cornflour / Starch
Method :
- Place the pork steaks in a greased the casserole or ovenproof dish. Lay 4 steaks on the bottom.
- Spread the apple sauce on each chop all over.
- Next pour the wine in a cup and pour all over, also the chicken stock
- Then sprinkle the balsamic vinegar
- Cover the dish and cook in a preheated oven 170°C / gas 6 for 1/2 hour
- Bring out the dish and turn the chops over so the bottom steaks are at the top cover and return to the oven for 1 hour
- They should be tender, take out the chops set aside and add the corn starch/flour and stir. It will be a little thicker
- Then add the sweet chili sauce and stir in.
- Return the chops to the dish put back in the oven for 20 minutes with no cover.
- Serve with noodles, boiled potatoes and veg.
