Ingredients :
- 2 cups pineapple preserves
- 1 lb (4 sticks) butter
- 1 package light brown sugar
- 4 1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 12 slices candied pineapple
- 1 pound candied cherries (red and green)
- 2 pounds chopped dates
- 12 cups chopped peacans
- 2 cups flour
Method :
- Cut up candied fruit and nuts and sprinkle with 2 cups of flour.
- Cream butter, add sugar, milk, eggs and mix well. Add dry ingredients and pineapple preserves.
- Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Cook 20 minutes at 325°.
