Recipe Barbecued ginger pork satays

Ingredients :

  • 500 g ( 1 lb ) pork fillets
  • 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method :
  1. Cut pork into even size and cubes. place grated ginger, pepper, sesame oil, lemon juice, onion, and salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well. Mix pork cubes with marinade and level for 1 hour.
  2. Thread pork cubes onto skewers. Cook on preheated barbecue flatplate for 5 minutes each side or until cooked to personal taste. Serve with a salad and hot bread rolls
  3. Note : pork fillets are a delicate cut with little fat visible. If not available, choose another lean cut.
