
Ingredients :
- 1 1/4 cup self raising flour
- 1/2 cup custard powder
- 1/3 cup icing sugar
- 180 grams butter
- 60 grams butter extra
- 1 cup icing sugar extra
Method :
- Pre-heat oven to 180c/350f. Add all dry ingredients in to bowl
- Soften butter in microwave if required (soft, not melting)
- Rub butter into dry ingredients with fingers until dough forms and no crumbs remain
- Roll dough into long snake and cut in to one inch rounds
- Place rounds on to tray lined with greaseproof paper and press with fork
- Bake for 15-20 mins until lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool on tray
- Mix extra butter and icing sugar with electric beaters and sandwich yo-yo"s together
