Recipe Vickys Kiwi, Apple & Grape Sorbet

Resep Vickys Kiwi, Apple & Grape Sorbet

Ingredients :

  • 180 ml warm water
  • 100 grams to 150 grams (half cup to 3/4 cup depending on sweetness of fruit) granulated sugar
  • 3 over ripened kiwi fruits, peeled
  • 1 large handful green seedless grapes
  • 1 apple, cored and cut into wedges
  • 2 tsp lemon or lime juice

Method :
  1. Make a simple syrup by gently dissolving the sugar into the warm water
  2. Set aside to cool to room temp
  3. Put the kiwi, apple, grapes and lemon/lime juice into a blender or food processor and blitz smooth
  4. Add the simple syrup and pulse to combine
  5. At this point I added the mixture into my ice cream maker to start it off but you don"t need to if you don"t have one
  6. Pour the mixture into a freezer-proof container with a lid and put it in the deep freeze
  7. Stir it every half hour for 3 hours then leave until you reach the desired set. Mine took 1 hour to set after I stopped stirring
  8. This also makes a really refreshing slush drink if you mix in some apple or grape juice to a scoop of the sorbet in a glass
