Ingredients :
- crust top and bottom
- 1 2/3 lb ground meat.
- 1/2 medium bell pepper
- 1/4 cup dehydrated onions
- 1 1/2 tbsp yellow prepared mustard
- 1 tbsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/3 tsp turmeric
- 1/3 tsp summer savory
- 1/2 cup pecan flour/ meal
- filling
- 1 cup sliced mixed carrots yellow and orange
- 1 1/2 cup cauliflower
- 1 1/2 cup broccoli
- 3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup walnuts
- topping
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 1/4 cup tomato sauce
Method :
- Preheat oven 400° Fahrenheit
- Mix all the crust ingredients. Mix them well.
- Microwave, or steam the filling vegetables, carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower for a total of 9 minutes.
- In a deep dish pie pan put your crust mixture in bottom and sides set the rest aside.
- Add walnuts and steam vegetables to bottom crust add shredded cheese. Sprinkle with some salt.
- Form like patties the crust for top. Add to top in sections. Then smooth it out add thinly sliced onions. Add cheese. Bake 30 minutes.
- After its baked add tomato sauce, and bake 7 more minutes. Take out cover 10 minutes, serve hope you enjoy!
