
Ingredients :
- 2 Tbsp Olive oil
- 400 g. Chicken cut up into chunky pieces
- 1/4 Cup White wine
- 250 g. Button mushrooms cut in half
- 2 Tbsp Wholegrain Mustard
- 1/4 Cup boiling water
- 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Corn flour/starch in a small amount of cold water (2 tbls water)
- 1/4 Cup Single Cream
Method :
- Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan . Then add the Chicken fry for 5 minutes stirring
- Add the mushrooms and fry with chicken for a further 6 mins
- Make a well in the middle and pour in the wine and let it bubble and boil to reduce alcohol for 2 minutes then add the boiling water and stir
- Add the Shallots and stir
- Add both the mustards and stir well turn heat down cook for 1 minute
- Lastly add the cream and stir in simmer for 1 minute and add the cornflour and mix to slightly thicken
- Serve with new potatoes or fries, homemade chips also
