
Ingredients :
- Sweet Pie Dough
- 1/2 Cup all purpose flour & 1/2 Cup Cornstarch
- 1/2 Cup whole wheat flour
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 100 grams butter (9 Tablespoons)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- For each Apple you will need :
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 Tablespoon flour
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Method :
- Wash Apples cut off lids from each one. Carve the inside of the Apple out. Using a sharp knife. And I used a melon baller.Chop up apples. Mix sugar mixture together. Pour over apples. Mix together. Set aside. To avoid apples turning brown. Use a few drops of lemon juice.
- For the pie dough. Put all ingredients in a food processor and mix only only until it forms a ball. If you need to add a few drops of water. This is enough to make 8 lids for apples . Do not over mix.
- Roll out pie dough. With a large Flower cookie cutter. Cut out enough flowers for your apples.To make holes in flowers. Use a Straw.
- Fill each apple with your chopped Apple mixture. I sprinkled some Bigger sugar on my flowers.lay your flower over your filled apples.
- Bake Apples at 350º for about 40 minutes.
