Ingredients :
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 T flour
- 2 1/4 c milk
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t cayenne
- 1 3/4 c shredded cheese
- 8 oz (2 c) macaroni
- 1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes
Method :
- preheat oven 375F
- dice/fry bacon
- cook mac&cheese
- add flour to drippings in pan cook/stir 30 sec. add milk, salt, cayenne
- Bring to a boil, reduce to as simmer and cook until thick stirring frequently.
- remove from heat/ stir in 1/4c cheese. stir in cooked macaroni, and tomatoes and transfer to casserole dish
- bake 20 mins
- top with cheese and bacon and bake for 5 mins
