Ingredients :
- 2 packages (10 oz) frozen broccoli
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1/3 cup All purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup Milk or light cream
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1/4 cup Dry white wine
- 1/3 cup Shredded Swiss cheese
- 10 oz Sliced cooked chicken
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- Paprika
Method :
- Cook broccoli according to package directions. Drain. Arrange in a baking dish to cover the entire bottom.
- In a sauce pan, melt butter.
- Stir in flour, nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Add milk (or cream) and broth all at once.
- Cook and stir until bubbly; continue cooking 1 to 2 minutes more.
- Stir in wine. Add Swiss cheese, stir until melted.
- Pour half of the sauce over broccoli. Top with chicken. Pour remaining sauce over chicken. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese, Parmesan cheese and paprika.
- Bake in a 350°F oven for 20 minutes or until heated through. Let bake until golden brown.
