Ingredients :
- 4 lb pork spare ribs
- Salt and pepper
- 2 onions, quartered
- 2 green apples, quartered
- 1/2 head red cabbage, cored, halved and sliced into 1/4" sections
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Method :
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly oil a 9X12" baking pan.
- Season the spare ribs with a little salt and pepper and place in the pan.
- Distribute the onions and apples evenly over the pork. Tuck bunches of the red cabbage into any spaces between the pork (do not spread cabbage out in a thin layer).
- Mix the ginger with the olive oil and spoon it over the ingredients.
- Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Serve hot.
