Recipe Baked Pork Spare Ribs

Ingredients :

  • 4 lb pork spare ribs
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 onions, quartered
  • 2 green apples, quartered
  • 1/2 head red cabbage, cored, halved and sliced into 1/4" sections
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Method :
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly oil a 9X12" baking pan.
  2. Season the spare ribs with a little salt and pepper and place in the pan.
  3. Distribute the onions and apples evenly over the pork. Tuck bunches of the red cabbage into any spaces between the pork (do not spread cabbage out in a thin layer).
  4. Mix the ginger with the olive oil and spoon it over the ingredients.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Serve hot.
