Recipe Stuffed pears en croute

Ingredients :

  • 4 pears
  • 1 box puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz brie
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 egg

Method :
  1. Preheat oven to 300°F
  2. Cut the top off the pears and remove the core leaving the bottom
  3. Stuff each pear with 1 oz of cheese, and put the tops back on the pears
  4. Cut puff pastry into 1/2 in strips and wrap around the pears
  5. Press lightly to join strips together
  6. Beat egg and brush a coat over each pastry
  7. Bake pears for 30 min, then drizzle honey over each pear
  8. Raise oven temp to 350°F and bake 15-20 min
