Ingredients :
- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 each nectarines
- 1 tsp candied ginger
- 2 stick cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp fresh grated nutmeg or jar if you don't have fresh
Method :
- Combine water, sugar and cranberries to medium size sauce pan
- Zest the tangerines gently with a greater only those that none of the white. Add to the pot
- Grate the nutmeg add it and the cinnamon sticks
- Squeeze the the juice from the nectarine add that plus zest to your pot.
- Cut up candy ginger in very small pieces. Add to pot.
- Bring pot to a boil. Then turn down to a simmer. Let simmer for 15 mins.
- Let cool completely. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor. Enjoy with turkey, baked chicken sandwiches and more.
