
Ingredients :
- 200 grams butter
- 70 grams sugar (or more, depending on taste)
- 125 grams flour
- 1 egg
- dash vanilla extract (optional)
Method :
- Cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Add the egg and combine well.
- Sift in flour in two batches until the mixture forms into a soft dough.
- Store the dough in the fridge for half an hour.
- Mould and poke the bottom with a fork to prevent breakage.
- Bake in preheated oven at 200℃ for ten to fifteen minutes or until golden brown.
- Chill in fridge overnight for best results.
