Recipe Lamb Chops in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients :

  • 3/4 kg lamb chops
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 6 tomatoes peeled and chopped
  • salt

Method :
  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the lamb chops and brown on both sides then place in a casserole dish and set aside.
  2. Chop and sauté the onion in the frying pan using the same oil then add the crushed garlic - fry for a few minutes.
  3. Add the tomatoes to the frying pan and season with salt - after 5 mins add the mixture to the lamb chops in the casserole dish.
  4. Cover the casserole dish and place in a preheated oven (180°C/350°F) for about 30 mins until the lamb chops are tender.
