Recipe Scotch knots

Resep Scotch knots

Ingredients :

  • INGREDIENTS for 8 Knots
  • 210 g Flour
  • 20 g Corn Starch
  • 10 g Baking Powder
  • 45 g Sugar
  • 50 g Butter (A)
  • Egg (about 1 Egg) 50g
  • 100 g Milk (or Water)
  • 100 g Butter (B)
  • 120 g Brown Sugar

Method :
  1. Line standard muffin tins with paper liners.
  2. Preheat oven to 350F.
  3. Cream the butter (B) and set aside until use.
  4. Add the flour, corn starch, baking powder and sugar to a mixing bowl and mix well.
  5. Add the butter (A), egg and milk (or water) to the dry mixture and knead well.

  7. Spread the creamed butter (B) on the dough.
  8. Spread the brown sugar on the butter.
  9. Roll up the dough and cut into about 3cm wide pieces.
  10. Place the dough in liners and bake for 25 min. Enjoy!
