Ingredients :
- 1 lb macaroni or pasta of your choice.
- 6 tbsp Butter (separated)
- 4 tbsp Flour
- 3 cup Milk
- 3 cup Grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Dry mustard
- 1/4 (1/8 teaspoon) cayenne pepper
- 1/3 cup Dry bread crumbs
Method :
- Cook pasta.
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan. Add flour and cook for 2 minutes.
- Slowly add milk whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Bring to boil low to medium heat.
- Add cheeses, salt, dry mustard and cayenne pepper. Heat until it bubbles. Mix in pasta.
- Spray an oven proof pan with Pam. Pour the macaroni and cheese into pan.
- Top with bread crumbs. Melt 2 tablespoons butter and pour over bread crumbs.
- Bake at 350 for 30 min. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
