Ingredients :
- 1 1/2 cups rotini pasta
- 2/3 cups bacon cubes
- 3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 1/3 cup & 2tsp red wine
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
Method :
- Put oil in the pan and heat
- Put onions and chopped bacon in the pan at med-low
- Meanwhile cook pasta al dente with half the wine
- Add heavy cream to the pan of bacon and onions
- Add remaining wine to sauce with 2 pinches of salt & stir till light purple
- Drain pasta then add pasta to sauce pan
- Stir and serve. * Top with a little Parmesan
