
Ingredients :
- 6 oz Broccoli
- 6 oz Cauliflower
- 3 tbsp Butter (separated)
- 1 Garlic Salt
- 3/4 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup Cream
- 1 tbsp Low carb flour (carbquick is the flour I use)
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
Method :
- Pre heat oven to 350
- Wash Broccoli and cauliflower. Cut them down to florets. I buy a 12 oz bag of the two combined to save time.
- Bring pot to boil. Turn down heat, combine the two in pot and simmer for about 5 minutes. Drain and add 2 tablespoons of butter and a few dashes of garlic salt to taste. Pour into casserole dish and set aside.
- In a sauce pan, Melt butter at a medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of low carb flour and mix well. Slowly pour in cream and stir until bubbly and thick. Turn heat to low. Add cheese stirring constantly. Add a dash or two of Worcestershire sauce stirring constantly. Once your cheese is melted pour over broccoli and cauliflower. (Optional) Don"t be afraid to try your favorite cheese!
- Cover and Place in oven for 20 mins. Uncover for the last 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and slightly toasted.
