Ingredients :
- 2 C sugar
- 1 3/4 C Flour
- 3/4 C Cocoa
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 Eggs
- 1 C Milk
- 1 Stick Unsalted Butter
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 C Boiling Water
Method :
- Preheat oven 350°F. Grease and flour one 13×9×2, or two 9 inch round pans.
- Stir together: sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Add eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla. Stir in boiling water. **Batter will be very thin**
- Pour batter in prepared pan(s).
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes. Remove from pans if desired. Cool completely.
- Use Deep Dark Chocolate Frosting for double the chocolate.
