Ingredients :
- 350 grams plain white flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 50 ml olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 120 ml water
Method :
- Preheat the oven to 200°
- Mix the flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl until fully mixed
- Add the oil and water into the bowl and mix with your hands to form a ball shaped dough in the bowl. The ball should be soft but not sticky (add more water or flour if needed).
- On a floured surface, knead the dough for 3 to 4 minutes to create a smooth ball. Rip the ball in half and reshape into two separate balls
- With a rolling pin, flatten the ball into the desired shape. It should be 1cm thick. Repeat with the second ball
- Add your desired toppings (see my tomato and garlic pesto recipe for a homemade touch)
- Put the two pizza bases onto a tray and slide into the oven. Cook for 18 minutes
- Let cool for 2 minutes, cut and serve
