Recipe No yeast pizza dough

Ingredients :

  • 350 grams plain white flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 120 ml water

Method :
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl until fully mixed
  3. Add the oil and water into the bowl and mix with your hands to form a ball shaped dough in the bowl. The ball should be soft but not sticky (add more water or flour if needed).
  4. On a floured surface, knead the dough for 3 to 4 minutes to create a smooth ball. Rip the ball in half and reshape into two separate balls
  5. With a rolling pin, flatten the ball into the desired shape. It should be 1cm thick. Repeat with the second ball
  6. Add your desired toppings (see my tomato and garlic pesto recipe for a homemade touch)
  7. Put the two pizza bases onto a tray and slide into the oven. Cook for 18 minutes
  8. Let cool for 2 minutes, cut and serve
