Ingredients :
- 1/4 cup whole corriander seeds
- 2 tbs whole cumin seeds
- 2 tbs whole mustard seeds
- 2 tbs whole anise seeds
- 1 tbs whole fenugreek seeds
- 1 tbs whole allspice berries
- 5 tbs tumeric
- 1 tsp chilli powder or cayenne.
Method :
- Combine the Corriander, Cumin. Mustard, Anise, Fenugreek seeds, and Allspice Berries in a skillet. Toast over a medium heat until the colour of the spices darken slightly, and the spices are very fragrant. This is for about 10 minutes.
- Remove spices from the skillet and allow to cool completely. Grind the spices with the Turmeric and Cayenne and store in an airtight container in a cool dark place.
- Test out how much to use that suits your taste.
