Ingredients :
- For the caramel:
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoon water
- For the custard:
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Butter for molds
Method :
- Heat milk and sugar without boiling, and set aside to cool
- Heat sugar and water until it becomes a caramel
- Butter the molds and add the caramel
- Mix the eggs and vanilla, and then slowly mix the eggs with the milk
- Add the milk mixture to the mold and bake at 310F for around 40 minutes until set
- Serve warm or let cool
