
Ingredients :
- squid
- 700 grams squid
- 300 grams mushrooms chopped
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 tomatoes chopped (seeds removed)
- 1 large capsicum chopped
- 6 shallots chopped
- 4 green chilli chopped finely
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- salt
- marinating calamari
- 1/2 tbsp black pepper
- 1/2 red chilli powder
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves grated
- salt
Method :
- After cleaning and preparing the calamari cut them into rings.
- Marinate the calamari for 1 hour. Since squids doesn"t have much taste of its own marinating them does bring out a good taste.
- Heat oil in pan and fry the vegetables for 5 minutes.
- Add the marinated calamari (do not add the excess marinating liquid) and stir fry for 5minutes. Season with shallots and more salt (if needed). Make sure not to overcook the calamari as it will become rubbery/hard to chew and might have to cook for 30 or 60 mins to return back to its tender stage.
- Serve hot and enjoy ^^
