Recipe Baked salmon in broccoli bechamel

Ingredients :

  • 1 Filet of Salmon
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 Cups Whole Milk
  • 1 Chopped Shallot
  • 2 Chopped Cloves of Garlic
  • 2 1/2 Cups Broccoli Florets
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Dill
  • 2 Tbsp Flour
  • to Taste Salt
  • to Taste Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Method :
  1. Preheat oven to 375F
  2. Prep Salmon and place on a greased half sheet pan
  3. In a pot, over medium heat, melt butter.
  4. Add flour and whisk vigorously to break down lumps and create a blonde roux.
  5. Once the roux is ready, add the heavy cream and milk and stir until the roux is fully Incorporated.
  6. Add the broccoli florets, dill, shallot, and garlic and stir until heated through.
  7. Once heated through, add salt and pepper to taste and stir until incorporated.
  8. Once the sauce is complete, pour it over the salmon and place the sheet pan in the oven until the salmon is moist and flaky.
  9. Enjoy!
