
Ingredients :
- 2 slice your favourite bread
- unsalted butter
- 4-5 slice honey roast sandwich ham
- smear of tomato ketchup
- to taste mature cheddar or Swiss cheese
- sliced chorizo sausage
- garlic purΓ©e, powder or granules
- to taste tomato purΓ©e (optional)
- sea salt and black pepper
- to taste basil (preferably fresh torn)
- to taste oregano (preferably fresh torn)
- to taste parsley (preferably fresh torn)
Method :
- Cover the un-buttered side with a smear of garlic purΓ©e then add the herbs and the cheese
- Slice your cheese thinly
- Add the cheese...
- Smear on a little tomato purΓ©e and season with salt & pepper
- If you"re using a salamander/overhead grill, melt the cheese now until it bubbles
- Cover this with the sliced ham
- Smear on a little tomato ketchup and season again if desired
- If using an overhead salamander, cook on low for a further 2 minutes, otherwise put the lid on top and cook in your press, pan, or sandwich toaster.
