
Ingredients :
- 200 gm yellow lentil
- 1/2 tspn ginger paste
- 1/2 tspn chilli paste
- 1/2 tspn baking pdr
- Salt as ur taste
- Pinch Asafoetida
- 2 cups white oil or more for frying balls
- 1 cup chopped cilantro for dip
- 5 pods garlic
- 2-4 green chilli
- 2 tspn tamarind pulp
- to taste Salt
- Julienne radish for salad
Method :
- Soak yellow lentils in enough water for 3-4 hours
- Now drain water n make paste in mixer grinder
- Now lentil paste transfer into big bowl..add salt..asafoedita..ginger n chilli paste..baking pdr..whisk with whisker clockwise for ten min like cake batter..u get light batter...
- Meanwhile heat oil in heavy bottom deep frying pan..do flame medium..
- Keep a bowl of water..pour ur fingers in water n take out...with damp fingers take little portion of the batter n drop into hot oil..fry till golden..stir continiously..otherwise it can burn...likewise fry all balls...keep all balls on oil absorbing paper.
- Now make dip ..Wash Cilantro n chopp ..grind with green chilli n garlic..transfer into a bowl..add salt n tamarind pulp....ur dip is ready.
- Now take a big plate..keep fried balls..dip n julliun radish..serve hot yellow lentil balls.
