
Ingredients :
- 1 medium size onion
- 1 medium size potato
- 2-3 tomatoes
- 200-300 grams spinach
- 2 green chillies
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- to taste salt (quarter teaspoon approximately)
- Any vegetable oil
Method :
- Put any vegetable oil about 2 tablespoon in a pan which has heavy base. Add finely chopped onion in it.
- Let onion be caramalised, after it becomes soft pink add one teaspoon chilli powder, quarter teaspoon turmeric and about quarter teaspoon salt in the pan. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add 1 medium size potato chopped in small cubes and chopped tomatoes to the pan. Let it cook for about 10-15 minutes and cover the pan while cooking. While cooking stirr the mixture once or twice.
- After the potatoes become soft and tomatoes get squishy, add chopped spinach into the pan and put the pan on high heat. Cook for about 2 mins and stirr the mixture and take the pan out of stove.
- Now serve the sabzi with roti or rice.
