Recipe Tilapia Ceviche

Resep Tilapia Ceviche

Ingredients :

  • 4 Large Ripe Red Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Chopped Red onion
  • 1 cup Chopped Cilantro
  • 1/2 Large Diced Cucumber
  • 6 Limes
  • 2 1/2 lbs of Salt
  • 1 Pepper

Method :
  1. Dice Tilapia into small cubes and place them in a large shallow dish.
  2. Add 1 cup of fresh squeezed lime juice to tilapia and chill for at least 45 minutes. (Lime juice cooks the fish, and you will know its fully cooked when it turns white.)
  3. In a separate bowl, place chopped red onion and chopped cilantro.
  4. Cut out sides of tomato leaving core in tact. (You do not want any seeds or juice.) Add to bowl of onions and cilantro.
  5. Peel, seed and dice the cucumber. Add to bowl of onions, cilantro, and tomatoes. Chill until fish is ready.
  6. Drain all lime juice from tilapia.
  7. Carefully mix drained tilapia into bowl of onions, cilantro, tomatoes, and cucumber.
  8. Salt and pepper to taste.
