Recipe Sour cream pecan coffee cake

Ingredients :

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream (I use full fat, don't know if any other would work)
  • 2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Nut filling mix together
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tsp all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Method :
  1. Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla thoroughly
  2. Beat in the eggs one at a time
  3. Blend in the sour cream
  4. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda
  5. Add flour mixture to your creamed mixture & beat well. Don"t be alarmed mixture is very thick
  6. Spoon into a greased 9" tube pan - alternate spooning the batter and sprinkling nut mixture - ending with nut mixture. Don"t worry about gaps that you see... The cake will spread.
  7. Bake at 325°F for 50 - 60 minutes. Let stand in the pan until cool.
