Ingredients :
- 200 grams oats
- 200 grams wholemeal flour
- 140 grams maple syrup
- 200 grams unsalted butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
Method :
- Pre heat oven to 190/170 fan or Gas mark 5 & line 2 baking trays with baking parchment.
- Add the flour, oats and baking powder to a bowl and mix together.
- Add the butter to the bowl and mix together until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Add the maple syrup and mix until dough like . Wrap in cling film and chill for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and cut to into desired circle size - makes up to 24 biscuits.
- Place the biscuits on the lined trays and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
- Remove biscuits from oven and add to cooling rack. Once cooled enjoy :-)
