
Ingredients :
- 2 lb Pork sausage (bulk)
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 packages puff pastry
Method :
- In a large bowl, combine sausage meat, onion, garlic, and pepper. Mix well.
- Roll meat mixture into long roll approximately 1 inch in diameter, using plastic wrap. Refrigerate for an hour.
- Meanwhile, roll out puff pastry to a large rectangle. Cut so they are approximately 5 inches wide strips. Place sausage meat onto pastry and roll tightly. Place on a rack seam down. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes of until an internal temperature of 180°F and pastry is golden brown.
- Allow to cool, cut into 6 inch pieces and refrigerate covered. Serve warm or cold.
