Ingredients :
- 3 pork chops
- 3 tbsp rubbed sage
- 3 tbsp mixed Italian herbs
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 c fruit preserves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- to taste salt and pepper
Method :
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F
- Season chops with salt, pepper, sage, and mixed herbs
- Heat oil and butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat
- Sautee chops 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from pan and place in oven to keep warm
- Add vinegar, orange juice, and preserves to pan and reduce for 1-2 minutes
- Serve sauce either underneath chops or on the side
