Ingredients :
- 6 medium sized potato
- 1 kg hake
- 1 cup brown bread crumbs
- 1 cup flour
- 5 tablespoons fish spice
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoons cayenne pepper
- 2 eggs
Method :
- De-bone and remove the skin from the fish and chop into chunks
- Sprinkle some fish spice, cayenne pepper and salt and put into the microwave for 2 minutes. I want to pre cook it because i would hate to eat raw fish if its not sushi
- Boil the potatoes until fully cooked. You cam peel it before or after, it doesnt matter
- De-skin and chop the potato into bite size chunks
- Mix the potato and fish in one bowl
- Add one egg into the fish and mix in full.
- Use the other egg and create a wash.
- Make little patties or balls with the fish mix and roll into the bread crumbs
- Fry on each side until crispy.
- Serve immediately or when you serve later, you might want to fry it because it gets a little soggy
