Recipe Stewed chicken Creole (organic) with polenta

Resep Stewed chicken Creole (organic) with polenta

Ingredients :

  • 1 organic chicken
  • 1 large, peeled and chopped onion
  • 1/2 small red bell pepper , seeded and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 2 stalks green onion
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Method :
  1. Cut and season the chicken with salt and black pepper
  2. Prepare all the ingredients
  3. Heat a large pot (preferably iron) over medium-high heat and add olive oil
  4. Add the chicken...
  5. ... and fry until golden brown
  6. Add the onion and saute until starting to soften , 3 to 4 minutes.
  7. Add the peppers, tomatoes, celery, carrot and garlic and cook for more than 3 to 4 minutes.
  8. Let fry a little to incorporate and add the green onion
  9. Put hot water and cook for 2 hours or until chicken is tender
  10. Serve with polenta (or rice)
