Recipe Japanese style tofu steak

Resep Japanese style tofu steak

Ingredients :

  • 210 g okinawan-style tofu
  • Appropriate amount of potato starch
  • 1/4 onion
  • 70 g shimeji-mushroom
  • Appropriate amont of scallion(edge cut)
  • 2 tbsp ☆soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp ☆mirin(sweet rice wine)
  • 1 tbsp ☆rice wine
  • 1/2 tsp ☆grated garlic

Method :
  1. Mix the ☆s to make the Japanese-style sauce.
  2. Wrap your tofu with paper towels and put it on a bakeware. Then put it in a microwave(600W) for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. While your tofu is in a microwave, cut your onion and shimeji-mushroom.
  4. Heat some oil and put them in a frying pan on medium heat. When they start to turn golden brown, remove them.
  5. Slice your tofu into 3 slices and cover them with potato starch. Then put them in a frying pan.
  6. After flipping your tofu, add your onion and shimeji-mushroom. Then mix with your sauce well.
  7. Transfer your tofu steak on a plate and finish it with scallion on top!
