Ingredients :
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 3 tbsp cream or milk
- 1-2 tbsp butter or margarine
- any desired toppings
Method :
- Put water in pan on medium heat.
- Add oats.
- Turn heat to LOW when water begins bubbling.
- Stir occasionally until fluffy and well cooked.
- (If finished texture is too thin, add rolled oats in 1 tbsp increments until desired thickness is achieved.)
- Add cream and butter. Stir.
- Remove from heat and add toppings. Enjoy!
