Recipe One-Pot Red Beans & Rice

Resep One-Pot Red Beans & Rice

Ingredients :

  • 1 lb Dry Small Red Beans
  • 6 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 1/2 cup Long Grain Rice
  • 2 large Celery Stalks (halved)
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Seasoned Salt
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Chipotle Powder
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Method :
  1. In a large saucepan, add beans, celery, spices, and water. Cook uncovered over medium-low heat for 75 minutes or until half of the liquid has evaporated.
  2. Remove the celery stock halves from the pot and discard.
  3. To the beans and remaining liquid, add rice and olive oil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook 15 minutes or until remaining liquid has absorbed.
  4. Serve as a side or as a meal in itself.
