Recipe Lo Cal Pasta Fagioli

Resep Lo Cal Pasta Fagioli

Ingredients :

  • 1 small onion
  • 4 clove garlic
  • 2 bell pepper, any color
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 can white bean, such as cannelini or navy beans (14.5 oz)
  • 2 cup chopped frozen spinach
  • 1 1/3 tbsp basil, dried (half amount for fresh)
  • 6 cup vegetable broth
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 4 oz any dried pasta (bite sized, such as seashells)
  • 1 parmesan cheese, for garnish
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method :
  1. Prepare pasta according to package directions.
  2. While pasta is cooking, rinse and drain beans;set aside.
  3. Dice onion, bell pepper, and celery; set aside.
  4. Mince garlic; set aside.
  5. Add the oil to a large saucepan on medium heat.
  6. Sauté onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic for 5- 7 minutes or until the onions are translucent.
  7. Reduce heat and add tomato sauce, broth, salt, spinach, basil, and beans.
  8. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  9. Stir in pasta and heat until warmed through.
  10. Serve with a garnish of Parmesan cheese.
