Ingredients :
- 3 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 3 cup sugar
- 8 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract (I use extra)
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1 1/2 cup butter (3 sticks)
Method :
- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- Combine the flour, salt and baking soda.
- Mix and set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
- Add the eggs and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Add the vanilla and sour cream and mix.
- Pour into a well greased and floured tube pan (bundt pan) and bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours or until completely done.
- It will be golden and cracked on top when done, and the batter will look "set".
- Let cool for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the pan.
- Let cool and enjoy.
