Recipe Blondie's Grandma's Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients :

  • 3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 3 cup sugar
  • 8 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract (I use extra)
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cup butter (3 sticks)

Method :
  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. Combine the flour, salt and baking soda.
  3. Mix and set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
  5. Add the eggs and mix well.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix well.
  7. Add the vanilla and sour cream and mix.
  8. Pour into a well greased and floured tube pan (bundt pan) and bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours or until completely done.
  9. It will be golden and cracked on top when done, and the batter will look "set".
  10. Let cool for 10 minutes.
  11. Remove from the pan.
  12. Let cool and enjoy.
