Ingredients :
- 3 Large Cube Steak
- 2 can Cream of Mushroom
- 3/4 cup Water
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Dried or Fresh Minced Parsley
- 1/2 Medium Onion
- 4 Medium Sized Potatoes
Method :
- Mix Cream of Mushroom, water, and seasonings in a bowl with a fork or whisk, getting out as many lumps as possible
- Peel and quarter potatoes
- Peel and slice onion (you can also chop the onion, I just prefer slices)
- Halve the steaks so they fit better into the crock pot and season to taste if desired
- Spread a thin layer of cream of mushroom on the bottom of the crock pot
- Add potatoes in single layer
- Add half the onion on top of the potatoes and 1/3 to 1/2 of the cream of mushroom mixture
- Lay in steaks over the potatoes and avoid as much overlapping as possible
- Add the other half of the onions over steaks
- Pour the rest of the cream of mushroom mixture over the steaks and onions, covering as much of the meat as possible ( I spooned it in to make sure it was all covered)
- Set crock pot on low for 8 hours and forget about it!
