Ingredients :
- Oats
- Apple Juice (unsweetened)
- Natural (stirred) Yoghurt
- Honey
- Almonds (unsalted, roasted, chopped)
- Pistachio (unsalted, roasted, chopped)
- Pumpin seeds
- Sunflower seeds
- Flaxseed
- Frozen or fresh (if in season) mixed summer berries
Method :
- Soak the oats in Apple juice overnight. Take a few spoonfuls of the soaked oats in the morning, mix with some yoghurt to get a smoother consistency. Add honey, and mix well. Now you can get creative with all the other bits. I like to add Almonds, and any available roasted seeds and nuts that are available. Lastly, i take a handful of mixed berries and scatter those generously on top. Absolutely divine. Easy to prepare. Raw and healthy.
- Tips: I keep the almonds and any other nuts, roasted and chopped in a jar. Same with the seeds, so in the morning, you just add the yoghurt and honey and sprinkle all the rest on top. Its just takes 5 minutes to put it all together in the morning if the nuts are all ready.
