
Ingredients :
- 2 cup self rising flour
- 2/3 cup cold milk
- 2/3 cup shortening- butter flavor
- pinch kosher salt
- 1 melted butter to brush over tops
Method :
- Combine dry ingredients and shortening. With pastry cutter or fork, cut thw shortening into flour until its small crumbles.
- Slowly add milk and stir until dough begins to form...do not over mix
- Dump dough on silicone mat and spinkle a light dusting of all purpose flour so dough will not stick to rolling pin. Do not roll out too thin...cut out...shapes are fun!!!!
- Brush biscuits with milk and bake 350° for until brown. Immediately brush with butter when it comes out!
