Ingredients :
- 1 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 tsp roasted garlic salt or 2 cloves finely chopped roasted fresh garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt (if not using garlic salt)
- 2 1/2 oz toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes (or to your liking)
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp finely chopped cilantro
Method :
- Mix all ingredients until well blended. Taste first to adjust, and add seasonings to your liking. Finely chopped onion works beautifully too! I use ziploc bags as to make sure i can easily flip and rub marinade around and to make sure the meat does not dry out.
- Marinate at least an hour. I usually marinate it overnight, we all know the longer you can let it sit the better the flavor. Cook meat as usual, basting if wanted. Hope you enjoy!
