Ingredients :
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 1 vegetable oil
- 1 salt to taste
- 2 hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup chopping lettuce
- 2 slice Swiss cheese
- 4 slice bacon, cooked
- 4 slice of tomato
- 1 tbsp Thousand Island dressing
- 2 small slices of onion
Method :
- Prepare the barbecue or preheat the stove top or broiler.
- Lightly brush the chicken breasts with oil.
- Grill over medium heat for 5 minutes per side or until done.
- Salt the chicken to taste.
- Brown the bun tops and bottoms on the grill or in a skillet over medium heat.
- Stack the sandwich by first using the bottom bun, then lettuce, chicken breast, Swiss cheese, bacon slices (crisscrossed), onion, and then the tomato slices.
- Spread the Thousand Island dressing on the face of the top bun, and top off the sandwich with it.
