Recipe Sucre à la crème

Resep Sucre à la crème

Ingredients :

  • 2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method :
  1. Add sugar and cream to a heavy saucepan. Stir to combine.
  2. Bring sugar and cream to a boil over high heat. Pay attention to your pan! It will come to a boil quickly and fiercely. Stir every few seconds until a boil is reached.
  3. Turn element down to medium and continue to stir. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring the whole time. Depending on your stove, you may have to turn your element down a little more.
  4. After 5 minutes, remove pan from heat. Add vanilla (you can use a different flavour if you wish), stir a few times, and leave to cool.
  5. After cooling, pour a little in a bowl, either by itself, over some bread, or over cream puffs (my family"s favourite!). It"s even nice to dip apple slices into once it has reached room temperature.
